Chelsea v Liverpool news, Jurgen Klopp, Mohamed Salah: ‘I don’t want to see that’: Klopp’s frank message for Salah

JURGEN Klopp has told Liverpool star Mo Salah to cut out the play-acting.

The Kop boss delivered the rebuke after his 43-goal striker was booked for diving against Chelsea.

Klopp said: “I don’t want to see that. Yes, I think it was a dive. Or he waited for the contact, I am not sure.

“That is not what he wants to do. But obviously it happened.”

Klopp believes being up against former club Chelsea had something to do with his reaction.

He said: “He has now played twice against former team-mates.

“Roma played against him and were very friendly before the game, hug here and there, then in the game, bang.

“Today it was the same with Antonio Rudiger.

“You have to deal with that. He has to be much better.”

Defeat puts pressure on Liverpool as they look for a final-day win at home to Brighton to confirm a top-four place.

They may not need it if they win the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Chelsea need two wins from two games — at home to Huddersfield and away at Newcastle — plus favourable results elsewhere to pip Liverpool.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is daring to “dream” about gate-crashing the Champions League.

He said: “One month ago, it was impossible to imagine we would arrive at the end to fight for a place in the Champions League. Now there is hope.

“We are getting three points in every game. Our opponents are dropping points.”
