Gonzalo Higuain and Leonardo Bonucci are both undergoing medicals ahead of their respective moves to AC Milan and Juventus.
The clubs released images of the players arriving for scans on Thursday morning, with the expectation that the deals could be finalised shortly thereafter.
Higuain is expected to move to Milan on an initial season-long loan before the reported €58 million move is made permanent, while Bonucci will return to Juve after one season away.

The departure of Higuain, 30, after two seasons at Juve follows the €100m signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, with the club sanctioning the move in order to recoup some of that fee while also making room for the Portugal captain in their attack.
Higuain reported for preseason at Juve on Monday and trained for three consecutive days before leaving the Continassa training centre on Wednesday evening. He set a Serie A scoring record with 36 goals for Napoli in 2015-16 before joining Juve for €90m when they activated a release clause in his contract, making him the most expensive transfer in Italian football at the time.
Bonucci, 31, left Juve after seven years in a €42m move last summer, saying at the time that the decision was in part based on his continued disagreements with coach Massimiliano Allegri. He was named Milan’s captain but endured an inconsistent season and acknowledged believing early in the season he had made a mistake.
Defender Mattia Caldara, who signed for Juve last summer before returning to former club Atalanta on loan, is also expected to join Higuain in Milan. The club said he was also undergoing a medical on Thursday ahead of the move.
