Stoke sign Ince - Soccer News

Stoke City have confirmed the signing of Tom Ince from Huddersfield Town.

The Potters have already paid £10million for the winger as the fixed part of the transfer fee, and are likely to pay £2million more in the form of add-ons. Ince is their fifth signing this summer as they prepare for life in the Championship, having already secured the services of midfielder Peter Etebo,  striker Benik Afobe, goalkeeper Adam Federici and winger James McClean.

The son of the former England captain Paul Ince has signed a deal that is set to keep him at the Bet365 Stadium until 2022.

The 26-year-old started his professional career with Liverpool although he made a single League Cup appearance for the Reds. Since then, his journey took him through stints at Notts County (loan), Blackpool, Crystal Palace (loan), Hull City, Nottingham Forest (loan) and Derby County, before joining Huddersfield last summer. During the 2017/18 season, he scored three goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League team.
