France 10/11 to beat Croatia in Sundays World Cup showdown

France 10/11 to beat Croatia in Sundays World Cup showdown

Competition: World Cup

Market: France win

Odds: 10/11 @ Bet 365

Croatia and France will face off for the biggest prize in football as the two European nations meet in the World Cup Final.

Starting with Didier Deschamps Les Bleus, coming off the back of their 1-0 win over fellow European powerhouses Belgium, France have now reached their second consecutive major final and will travel to Moscow as an overwhelming favorite. While 19-year-old sensation Kylian Mbappe stole the show once again on Tuesday night, one man to watch is Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann. In fact, after being involved in four goals in the knockout stages, no player in this summers tournament has been directly involved in more goals at the knockout stages with two goals and two assists.

As for Zlatko Dalić’s Croatia side, coming off the back of breaking English hearts with their 2-1 win in extra time last Wednesday, Croatia have qualified for their first World Cup final in their fifth appearance at the tournament. If The Blazers are to pull off a shock upset on Sunday they will be hoping that Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic can carry on his impressive form. Up against a France side who have now kept five clean sheets in their last six World Cup appearances, the one-time Manchester United transfer target has been involved in 10 goals at major tournaments for Croatia (6 goals, 4 assists).
