Brozović in no rush - Soccer News

Marcelo Brozović is in no hurry to go anywhere, his agent Miroslav Bičanić has revealed to Sportske novosti.

The midfielder has recently been liked with several clubs, but Bičanić says his client is happy at Inter Milan and might sign a new deal soon.

Brozović has enjoyed a fantastic World Cup campaign with Croatia as they currently prepare to take on France in the final battle for the world’s most prestigious football trophy. His role in the team has seemingly been a quiet one, sitting deep in midfield next to Ivan Rakitić. But while the Barcelona man will occasionally venture forward and get into goalscoring opportunities, Brozović mostly hangs back, keeping things as safe as possible in front of the back four and recycling the ball in an effective way.

Having played for three different clubs in his country, he joined Inter in January 2015 and has so far made 112 appearances for the Nerazzurri.

Naturally, this statement by his agent seems like a signal to potential suitors to consider other targets, but it could also be perceived as a signal to step up their interest – before it’s too late.
